College Football Playoff rankings adjusted

In the third installment of the College Football Playoff rankings, Georgia leapfrogged Ohio State for the No. 1 spot. The top four are Michigan and Florida.

Georgia gets off to a dominant start

Georgia has gotten off to a dominant start to the season, defeating Ole Miss and Ole Miss. They are looking to win their third straight CFP National Championship.

Tough luck for Washington State and Oregon State

Washington State and Oregon State are both undefeated, but they are still not in the CFP Final Four field. Washington State and Oregon State are head-to-head, but the committee is looking more at win-loss relationships.

Louisville and Tulane

Louisville is ranked No. 10 and could qualify for the postseason if it can beat Florida State in the ACC tournament. Tulane is the highest ranked team in the five-college conference at No. 24.
